Terms of Service

These terms cover the Cicada Discord bot and this dashboard (together, “Cicada”), operated by Arseniy Seliverstov. Adding Cicada to a Discord server, or signing in to this dashboard, means you accept them.

Who may use Cicada

You must meet Discord’s own minimum age requirement for your country and comply with the Discord Terms of Service and Community Guidelines. To add Cicada to a server, or to manage it here, you need the Manage Server permission in that server.

What Cicada does

Cicada awards experience for chat and voice activity, keeps a per-account level and reputation score, runs a coin wallet and Rock-Paper-Scissors duels, links FACEIT nicknames to Discord accounts, creates temporary voice rooms, attributes member joins to invites, and sends messages to your channels through webhooks you trigger from this dashboard.

Acceptable use

• Do not use the webhook composer to send spam, harassment, deceptive content, or anything illegal.
• Do not automate, script, or otherwise inflate activity to farm experience, reputation, coins, or invite attribution. Cicada already rate-limits and filters for this, and detected abuse may be reset without notice.
• Do not attempt to access servers, data, or accounts you do not administer.
• Coins, levels, reputation, and any other in-bot value have no monetary worth, cannot be exchanged for money, and may be adjusted or reset by a server administrator or by us.

Premium features

Cicada has a free tier and paid tiers. Some features are unavailable or capped on the free tier; a server that adds Cicada gets one automatic trial of a paid tier, once, and never again. Paid time applies to a single server, is not transferable to another, and can be revoked if these terms are broken.

Where paid time can be bought in the bot, it is paid in cryptocurrency through a separate payment service and is credited once the transfer is confirmed on-chain. Neither Cicada nor this dashboard ever sees or stores a card, bank detail, or wallet key. A blockchain transfer cannot be reversed by us, so paid time is non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise; if a payment arrives short of the price, it is not credited and we will sort it out with you by email. We may also grant paid time by hand, free of charge.

Availability and liability

Cicada is provided as-is and free of any warranty. It may be unavailable, may lose data, and may change or shut down at any time. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of it, including lost data, lost coins or levels, or messages sent through the webhook composer. Keep your own backups of anything you cannot afford to lose.

Ending use

You can stop at any time by removing Cicada from your server. We may suspend or remove Cicada from a server that breaks these terms. Data deletion is covered by the Privacy Policy.

Changes and contact

These terms may change; the date at the top is updated when they do, and continuing to use Cicada after a change means accepting the new version. They are governed by the laws of Russia. Questions go to asel1x.work@icloud.com.
